He who laughs last thinks the slowest.
We’re introduced to Jun and Mai here, a hitman and a wealthy business owner, respectively. When Jun is tasked with assassinating Mai, he immediately falls in love. He must now decide if it’s worth it to abandon his job to pursue his love, taking all the risks of turning his former friends into enemies, or carry out his role, possibly destroying his one chance at true happiness. (Note: This description may or may not be completely made up)
Labelled as chapter 2 for organization purposes only. Please note that this is not the main story. There is no main story. It’s just a collection of short stories. That’s why I feel that labeling the previous chapter as 0 and this one as 1 makes no sense. If you disagree, please give a reason other than “VI did it like that” if you don’t want me to laugh at you.
Thanks for the new chapter.
Many thanks for the new release!

You weren’t … talking about me, were you?
I admit or deny nothing.
