Requirements
All Positions:

  • Netspeak/txtspeak is a no-go. We speak English, and you should too. Any applicant unable to adhere to this simple policy will be automatically ignored. (To be clear, it’s okay to use things like “lol”, but not okay to “wrt ur sntencs liek ths.”)
  • Our focus is quality over quantity. If you’d rather get something released quickly than fix it until it’s right, don’t apply because we’ll hate working with you.
  • Time. If you don’t think you have the time to commit at minimum a few hours per chapter to a project within a reasonable time frame, don’t apply.
Translator:

  • Must be fluent in English. This cannot be stressed enough.
  • Must be a capable reader of source language
  • Must be willing to work with QC/proofreading team on script changes for readability
Editor:

  • Comfortable using a computer
  • Willing to accept criticism and/or training, and work to improve skills
